Our Story

Kanienerekó:wa and Two Row

Our team proudly originates from the Kanienke'haka (Mohawk) and continues to thrive within Kanienke'haka, and other First Nations', territories. Our approach is rooted in lived experience, guided by Kaienereko:wa (The Great Law of Peace) and the principles of the Two Row agreement. Originally established between the Rotinonshonni (People of the Longhouse) and the Dutch, this agreement—passed down to the English, the United States, and Canada—promotes friendship, peace, and perpetual coexistence. Our work is strengthened by the perspectives of other First Nations people who join us, bringing insights from their lands and teachings to develop organic, innovative solutions.

Great Tree of Peace

We are inspired by teachings that empower others through peace, power, and righteousness. The White Roots of Peace, central to Kaienerekó:wa, extend to many Indigenous nations of North America and beyond, reminding us that lasting solutions are deeply rooted in First Nations knowledge. As Kanienke'haka, we nurture this knowledge through our language and traditions, including Thanksgiving ceremonies that mark the natural cycles. Our elders, families, and mentors encourage us to collaborate with other First Nations, fostering the growth of indigenous knowledge to promote the well-being of body, mind, and relationships.

Education and Indigenous Knowledge

Our team’s diverse educational, professional, and cultural experiences allow us to create solutions that blend indigenous knowledge with insights from around the world. Grounded in the teachings of Kaienereko:wa and enriched by generations of wisdom, we take a holistic approach that empowers communities. This foundation enables us to offer culturally grounded solutions that strengthen connections between people, land, and tradition.
